Excellent furniture. You have the option to place the entryway/towel rail on either side - we chose to show our entryway against the wall so it's not visible - this helped it blend in with the rest of the furniture in our home. The cats liked it. - You had no problem getting in and going through the divider section to get to the tray. I decided to leave the divider there because it turned out to be a great way to get extra dirt off her feet and as a result she created MUCH less trash on the floor. The doors make cleaning and vacuuming easier. It was big enough for our cats to go about their business and never had a spill, accident or anything like that. Whether or not they keep everything in a box probably depends on how clumsy your cat is - I wouldn't blame the design for that. We use this as a TV stand and have a heavy 40lb flat screen that sits on it. It took me forever to build by myself - the instructions were ok and I don't know why it took me so long, but I finally did it! Small stain on my fourth picture - it was there when I opened the box. This is either light water damage during production or residue after staining or woodworking. It was in the box so it didn't bother me. There was no other damage at the time of delivery.
