Is your expensive dongle or docking station missing features?

This docking station looks and feels great and is just the right size to hide behind my computer when clipped to my desk. But unfortunately, when I box it up to send it back, and even after speaking to tech support, I still don't understand if it's a docking station or a dongle. For me, the docking station is defined by the presence of the power pass-through feature. Yes, and everything is very simple - it's a quarter sheet of paper folded in the form of a sheet of paper. the quick start guide and doesn't have a link to the power through capability so I'm still confused. I expected a $100+ device to be more like a dock than a dongle, and I expected to be able to use the brick that came with my computer via USBC on the dock and from the docking station to the USBC port on my mit Power can supply computers. (Note: My computer only has one USBC port, so that port only needs to be occupied by something that can combine power and data transfer.) Unfair to the manufacturer, this device may not have been designed to be used as a docking station, and that's actually it the key, but that should be explained in the product description. That would save us customers time and the supplier a lot of headaches and a lot of profit from people like me who want to invest $100 in a docking station instead of just a simple dongle.
