I did 4 Ancra tie down when I was road racing between the ages of 25 and 40. 40 YEARS AGO! I had eight pairs but when your buddy asked for a pair to be used at the track his $4 pair broke again! they somehow become their own! The price is quite high, but think about how much your product costs! Whether it's your $35,000 Harley, $4,000 lawn mower, or $4,000 snow blower, no competition! The only issue I had was US 'assembled' imported or US parts. I bet the woven strap is an imported part as it is thinner than the original strap. Design . I would put a question mark on durability, I'll never know if they last 30 years. Take her! someone will "loan" them to you before you wear them out yourself!
