I bought three pieces for my family. Luckily a helmet wasn't on because I can take part of it and put it on my helmet to fix the broken part. It took 2 months, 3 weeks of which the bike was in repair! So broke after 5 weeks. Now I drive every day so I use it 4 or 5 times or more a day. Great idea, but cheap execution. I will look for a better quality quick release to replace them. Follow-up: The second one I switched from an unused helmet to mine broke after only 3 weeks of daily use, just like the first one. I ordered a completely different style to replace the whole thing.
