Sounds like a trick
I'm not a scientist. I haven't tested them in a lab that says there's a streak of anything in the plastic sink that the seller claims will keep your toothbrush fresh. You can dip your toothbrush in an antiseptic mouthwash and rinse your mouth for 5 seconds, which has been shown to sterilize your toothbrush. At least it protects my toothbrush from airborne particles in the bathroom, which are pretty nasty when you think about it. I will use them as recommended by the manufacturer but I will not buy them again.
