Great Bypass for Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS

This item worked great on my Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS. Unfortunately, this device doesn't let you just ground the parking brake wire or connect it to anything (oh, the good old days!). Also, I wasn't sure if the other bypasses sold by Revain would be compatible with this new head unit as Pioneer keeps changing the protection in them. Pioneer handbrake cable) so I just sealed the extra cable with a zip electrician. Just connect three kinds of cables for installation; Turn on remote control (blue wire but do not confuse this wire with Pioneer antenna power wire which is also blue) from Pioneer to vehicle wiring harness (if your vehicle has one) and bypass, ground wire (black wire) from Pioneer to vehicle wiring harness and bypass and finally the parking brake wire (green wire) ONLY from the Pioneer to the bypass. I used a shrink connector for all three wires. For the remote turn on and ground wires I've used a butt connector on each type to crimp one wire to two wires on the other side and it caused no problems. Now for the actual verification, this bypass works perfectly. I don't watch videos while driving, but I don't feel the need to put the parking brake on to set up the phone, change settings, etc. Also, installing the Pioneer head unit is much easier because you don't need to connect the parking brake cable . I've had this bypass for a month and a half and it hasn't caused any problems or stopped working. Get one for your Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS today!
