Review on ProCase Generation Leather Vintage Protective by Sean Perry

Sturdy and Reliable Case

In general, finding a case for the iPad Gen 7 was difficult. One feature to appreciate about this case is the durable sleeve that the device is inserted into and then secured with a velcro strap that folds down before sticking at the bottom to really make sure it doesn't stay in place leaves until you want it. The "safety bars", which are just slightly raised ribs that grip the folio's outwardly sloping edge from the side of the device, actually hold the device at the desired angle for ease of use in a tilted position. This is the first time this feature has actually worked, and part of that is due to the stiffness of the folio's exteriors. Depending on preference and usage, some might prefer a much thinner case - it's not the recommended 5/8 inch thickness when closed with the device installed. This makes it as thick as some of my thinner laptops and takes up valuable mounting space. It also covers much of the non-display bezel, which I don't care, but can be aesthetically tiring for the more elegantly refined, can be hooked, clipped, buckled, stolen, etc., and you wouldn't be entirely wrong. At the time of purchase I had yet to find a better case at a better price and while I may eventually upgrade to a slimmer model, portability will be the driving factor.
