This is the second swimwear we have purchased. I think the 1st lasted longer than the 2nd, but maybe we were in the pool more with the 2nd than with their first. In any case, it cannot be passed on to a younger sister. This pair now has tiny elastic threads that have snapped in the buttocks area. We had this suit for maybe 3 months. The first pair was replaced because they were very stretched, bloated in the pool and stretched past her knees, when it started it was 1-2 inches above her knee. how humble. She can swim and have fun without having to adjust her costume. Free to be just a kid. I'm not sure if I'll buy the 3rd. Fingers crossed they last the rest of the summer!
