These covers are great, very stretchy and a nice subtle texture/pattern. I actually tried them on my bigger dining chairs which are 22" by 17.5" and they fit quite well. My only 2 issues are 1) the color - it's a very blue grey, almost more powder blue. In the pic with 2 chairs the old one is a nice warm grey and you can see how blue the new ones is. And 2) the elastic to go under the seat is sewn into the seam past the cuff so when you stretch it across it pulls and rolls the seam, which creates a big lump right where the seat reattaches which makes it really hard to reattach and look good. They may just be too short but it's a pain. Dark char is the bigger one, white chair is the set I actually got these for which has a seat that's 20" at the front, 17" at the back, and 18" deep.
