Our bluebirds are sitting on the deck rail waiting for me to post this in the morning. When Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird have eaten their makeshift filling, the wrens move in and snag as many as they can. Our feeder is caged so only small birds can reach the mealworms, but I still have to refill it daily. As soon as the thrushes hatch, we have the chicks on the railing of our deck next to the feeding station, as well as the parents.
