Review on 🔪 Premium Sharpening Whetstone: Non Slip, Flattening Resistant Tool for Precise Blade Sharpening by Eldrick Carlton

The set contains two good sized sharpening stones. Each stone has two different surfaces, top and bottom. Each stone is clearly marked with a grit. Each stone comes with its own silicone base so it can be placed on a flat surface without worrying about it slipping or scratching the countertop. The silicone base also acts as a holder to hold the stone securely on the bamboo holder. The base also has a non-slip silicone coating on the underside to prevent the rig from shifting when sharpening knives. Includes a pair of comfortable fabric gloves that are cut resistant, stretchy and breathable. It's only one size but it fits everyone in my family, it's not so big that it's difficult to work with and it's not too small for me to cramp. Because it is a fabric, it provides a good grip for both food and knives. There is an angled guide (see image) that is about 4 inches long that can be slid down the spine of the knife when sharpening. It's a little tricky to put the lead on the knife, but it's probably safer that way. This helps keep the knife at a good angle while sharpening. The instructions are printed in color on paper, with pictures, simple and clear. Sharpens all my kitchen knives quickly and easily. There's also an 18-inch leather strap for stone polishing, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Also a flat rock for leveling the rock but I won't be using it any time soon. Overall very good value for a quality product and I expect it will last a long time.
