Practical in style and looks. The 5 rows of bristles (2 3/4" long) measure 1 1/2" x 8" with 6 1/2" of the 14" length being the handle. It offers good coverage, it's not balanced Feel The bristles are well attached to the handle for durability, they have a soft/silky feel but are slightly stiff which does a good job of removing dust, dirt, shavings and more The bristles are made of man-made polypropylene (polypropylene = polypropylene , aka polypropylene) which is NOT flame retardant. I lit a long bristle which quickly burned it back to the bristle head and ignited = the tips melted when I blew out the flame. I wouldn't call it anywhere near use objects.The brush I received had a few small dents and scuffs.It was unpackaged so not very suitable as a gift.will be good.
