Still smells like cigarettes after 10 days with the window open

I was able to easily mount two 34 inch ultra wide monitors on this stand. There is even space to put slightly larger monitors on it. But that thing stinks. I tried wiping it down when I assembled it but it still smells awful. I've been sitting in my office with the fan running and the window open for 10 days. I am very concerned about the base of this coaster as it is all glass. It has no metal reinforcement, so if something hits the base and breaks, your displays will fall to the ground. Also, the lowest height is too high for the bottom monitor. Another anchor point or two below the current low would be perfect for my display size. The mounts do not allow you to adjust how far your displays are from the stand. So if you tilt the top monitor down, it lands a few inches behind the bottom monitor. Tilt and swivel, but the mounts are good.
