I decided to buy this and use it with a polishing tool that I also bought here and it has proved very valuable in my endeavors. This article has greatly accelerated the process of removing char from my woodwork. A word of caution but as with any project the right PPE is important, if you are removing char you should of course wear eye protection but the most important thing is a respirator as it picks up dust quickly and will certainly leave you a darker shade than too beginning. I will order them in different grits to help with varying degrees of carbon removal. Overall it works as intended and the stubble doesn't fly all over the place.
