It would be great if there was a way to turn off the device to prevent battery drain.
This is a small, weatherproof digital pocket radio. I bought one to keep in my bag at home due to its size, but opted for an analogue pocket radio which is a bit larger as it can't be turned off to save battery. When switched off, it goes into standby mode, leaving the screen on for the clock function, which is still draining the batteries. The only way to save them is to physically remove the batteries from the device. It's also a very compact radio with decent reception and sound for its size.
