Great tool for sharpening knives and tools. After years of trying to sharpen knives with wet stones, whetstones, diamond wheels, sandpaper, and ceramic sharpeners, I finally found the secret to a blade that can cut paper. The edge and sides of the knife should be SMOOTH like glass. It's the roughness (even a very slight one) that creates the friction that grips the paper or whatever you're cutting, making it difficult to cut without pulling the paper out and stopping the cut. Tape and Buffing Paste is the answer to the question of how to achieve a smooth edge and finish. Remember you must use these tools with stones/diamonds/ceramic/sandpaper to get the sharpest edge possible before using a sling with buff. A Flexcut knife lanyard does the job.
