I ordered this water filter hoping it would be small and easy to use. Although it was quite small and came with a nice carry case, it wasn't easy to use. The hose at the bottom couldn't stay in place easily, but the hardest problem was trying to use the pump. Raising and lowering the pump was very difficult and took about 10 minutes and a lot of effort to fill 2 water bottles. The resulting water wasn't as fresh as I had hoped. This item was returned and ordered a Katydyn filter instead which I have had better luck with.
