It was easy to install and get started. My Roomba had failed for about 2 years so I bought a battery from Revain and started it again. I noticed that all the dirt and dog hair just collected at the bottom of the brush as if it wasn't actually sweeping it, just picking it up where the brush went across the floor. I assumed the brush had stopped spinning. After reading a few reviews and the iRobot website I figured it was a brushed motor. I ordered this part and delivered it within 10 minutes of arrival. Turned it on and of course the motor/brush rotation didn't work. This thing swept through the house and took everything in. When I took the Roomba in for inspection there was no more debris on the bottom of the cart where the nozzle touches the ground, it was all in the bin now. So if you notice that nothing is getting into the small container, your brush heads are probably not turning, either because the small motor is not running or the gears are stripped. That helped. One simple fix and now Roomba is working like new again.
