Review on Premium Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon for Toyota, Lexus, Scion - Kootek CF10285/CP285 Replacement by Seth Singh

The cabin filter has two functions: (1) remove particles by sieving and (2) remove odor with activated carbon.I used to buy a Farm CF10285 cabin filter, but when it came time to change it back I looked up Revain and found this Kootek filter seems to be similar and the 2 pack is a good deal. Although the two filters were packed in separate plastic bags in the box, the bags were not sealed tightly, rather they have holes in them to allow air to flow in and out freely. If you have two cars with the same cabin filters, this is ideal. However I only have one car with this filter, another one I had to save for a while later (maybe a year depending on mileage) to leave the activated charcoal so packed inactive ie even if you don't use it it will lose the function (2). I had to reseal it in a plastic bag and hope this helps protect the activated charcoal. A star is deducted for this.
