The star ratings do not count as I do not use this for a doorbell, but rather as a corgi finder. When I was in Seattle for work, I took my dogs to the dog beach in Edmonds. Problem? There were tri colored corgis galore! Which one was Latte? I could not tell. So, I bought one of these and attached the receiver to her harness and kept the transmitter. When I wanted to find her, I would just push the button, and head in the direction from which I heard the doorbell ring. As a bonus - it startles her so much that she immediately races to find me and jump into my lap. I never let her see the button so she does not know I am causing it. She is lousy at the recall, so this was n unexpected bonus. She obviously knows that for some bizarre reason she is suddenly ringing, and she will try to roll to get it off of her harness, but I just got a sturdy little pack from army surplus that looks like it was made to hang from a belt and stuck it on with a bit of super Velcro and sewing. So now we have Latte the ding a ling corgi!
