This is a fun camera but may not be suitable for beginners. Its best feature is Bluetooth connectivity and an app, so make sure you get that and not the non-Bluetooth version. The app gives you full manual control over aperture and shutter speed, so this is the camera that will slow you down to get the right shot. Another thing to note is the look and feel of modern Polaroid film (i.e. early Impossible Project film). Film definitely has a unique vintage look that can be finicky at times, so film maintenance is important throughout the process. So I recommend this camera, but be aware that there is a bit of a learning curve. If you don't want to waste time with this camera, then I'd recommend the Instax SQ6 instead (which I also own and enjoy) but if your understanding of this camera clicks, you'll finally get your first amazing full-size Polaroid. photo, you will be glad you got it.
