Review on 🐶 Teach Your Dog to Talk with Hunger for Words Talking Pet Starter Set: Recordable Buttons for Dogs - Multicolor by Steve Miller

Terrible sound quality, one broke almost immediately

I was so excited to try it but unfortunately the quality of the product is just terrible. When I received the package I found that I needed a mini Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I didn't have it and couldn't find it so had to spend a few bucks to get it. (By the way, batteries are not included, which is a bit disappointing). When I finally put the batteries in, the sound quality was shocking - I almost had to scream for the recorder to even record my voice, and it was so distorted I could barely make out what the knob was saying, so it was probably a useful tool for my dog to learn how to communicate, pretty low. To top it off I pushed one of the off-center buttons so the top piece of plastic popped out of its place and now I can't put it back on and it won't work. I didn't abuse the button, apply excessive pressure or anything - it was normal contact, but slightly off center of the button, and that was enough to disable the thing. I think if you plan on experimenting with them, maybe give them another year or two until they fix some of these really big production issues. It's a cool concept and I would still love to be able to train my dog like this, but unfortunately these tools are so poorly made that they're basically useless. :(
