Ever since I was 40 (ugh) I've noticed that I have a hard time reading instructions on how to eat, paint, write, etc. Even using my phone and tablet was a problem. My husband had the same problem although he is older and had Lasik in 2006. We did an online test and were both able to use the 1.0 glasses. I can finally see in the kitchen, read emails, etc. I didn't realize before how much I needed them! I've never needed glasses, so I've never had a style to go for. You look pretty good, I'd say better on me than on my husband, but he doesn't really care about looks. He's more of a functional guy. Would definitely buy again. EDIT, they break pretty easily. I think my first pair broke from sitting too close. With the second pair, I don't know what happened. I tried to put them on and an arm broke. I'll try what Costco sells. After editing on the last pair. Each pair breaks in the same place, the right hinge snaps, there is very thin plastic.
