I have been using chopsticks since I was 9 years old, the first time I went to a Chinese restaurant the manager showed me how to do it. I'm in my 30s now and enjoy using chopsticks, especially on themed nights. I made a Guam chicken dish tonight and thought it paired well with rice and chopsticks so I have to try my new dishes! They worked great and held up as well as anything I've used in the past and even better than some (I look at you jade chopsticks!). I am happy that they will continue to give me a long life, which is good. Bamboo is beautiful but difficult to maintain.
