🍲 Devico Metal Chopsticks Set - 18/10 Stainless Steel, Reusable, Dishwasher Safe (5 Pairs) Review

These chopsticks have exceeded my expectations. I like the groove pattern on the tips. Keeps groceries right where I want them! I was originally inspired to try this product to reduce my contribution to the waste stream. I carry the set in my backpack, in the car and keep the set on my desk. Great for my vegetarian diet. I highly recommend it!

I give these 3 stars because they are well assembled and packaged, easy to clean and look stylish. Unfortunately, they are also very smooth in the hand. I find it almost impossible to eat with them. Textured tips hold food well, but the steel you hold them in could use the same engraving. If I had paid more for them I would have been upset, but I just threw them in the trash because the steel is too thin to texturize myself. I'll stick to the wood.

Sorry, but this goes into my noble treasury; I do not want her. My mom had a pair of metal chopsticks in the 1970's and I wanted to recreate these that were nice, heavy and durable. These chopsticks remind me of those shiny plastic metal paraphernalia you buy at the party store. They are very light and it is hard to believe that they are actually made of metal. They feel like plastic and I feel like I could break them in half. Although the box with them is very beautiful.

I have been using chopsticks since I was 9 years old, the first time I went to a Chinese restaurant the manager showed me how to do it. I'm in my 30s now and enjoy using chopsticks, especially on themed nights. I made a Guam chicken dish tonight and thought it paired well with rice and chopsticks so I have to try my new dishes! I really like them, they're attractive and easy to clean (but they're too thin to wash in most dishwasher baskets so think about it). My only complaint is that the texture really doesn't end up being enough to compete with a wooden chopstick, so they're a little slick. I'm pretty good with chopsticks and have found that I have to push what I'm picking up a lot harder to keep it from slipping off the chopsticks, so they're really not good for pasta.
