Easy to install - BUT be careful Comcast
The modem has been installed for over a month with no problems. I'm not a huge speed geek (ie I don't play online games (but my old modem was 6 years old so the upgrade was worth it). Installation was easy EXCEPT I'm with Comcast. Despite the instructions saying, You MUST call Comcast to complete the installation. This was the only reason I didn't want to buy a new modem. The installation took an extra hour, but otherwise the installation went well. I'm glad I did and I did am very satisfied with my new modem Arris modem.
