Here's the first thing you need to know about these combs - they're BIG. I use a big comb when I get out of the shower but these are huge. They have huge teeth that are set fairly wide apart and are surprisingly smooth and comfortable. I find (as a man with somewhat long hair) that they are not suitable for combing wet hair as they are so big that they miss part of the hair. They are best for me on hair after it has been set for a day to keep it in shape. They can be more effective on long, thick hair. But they do the job and they're reasonably priced for their size, so I'll keep using them, just not in the first place today.
