This bacon maker is just the right size to be handy in the kitchen and heavy enough to serve its intended purpose. I like the wooden handle, which feels much cooler than some wire-handled presses. My wife and I make much thicker sausages for breakfast that we chop before cooking. Due to the fact that when the pieces of sausage are heated, they fry only the tips on one side, and the middle on the other. This bacon press keeps the sausage sections flat for even cooking, and they seem to cook even faster with the press. I've also used these on my outdoor steak grill and I think they cook faster and more evenly. I have no reservations, I recommend this product to everyone. I am very satisfied with this product.
