We bought this for our freshman daughter who desperately misses cooking in her dorm room. We thought it would be great if she could make cupcakes. Well, that's just the beginning of what you can make of it! As well as cupcakes, you can make muffins, mini cheesecakes, egg tins, mini tarts (check out King Arthur's website for great ideas), pot pies, mini pizzas or calzones - just anything you can think of. She likes the tiny factor, but the size falls somewhere between an actual mini cupcake and a regular sized cupcake. I'm still looking for earbuds that fit really well. We also bought her a 3 cup rice cooker and she can even cook bread in it! So she can semi-legally (okay, not at all legally) cook in her dorm room. However, it's probably safer than making quesadillas with an iron. This is a great product and our daughter was delighted with it this Christmas. Very diverse. She called it an easy oven for college students because you can actually make real food that people want to eat!
