Unfortunately, these strips are defective - potential fire hazard. Each of the 6 sockets appear to have a manufacturing defect at the depth of the socket. I checked both strips and both had the same problem. I have a Belkins bar and just in case I inserted the plugs into the sockets on the Belkins bars and the plug came in clean and secure with good contact. Not so with the Clear Powerstrips. The plug was not fully inserted into the Clear Power jack, creating a dangerous gap, ie potential hazard of electric shock.
