I have an 8600ADHS-PLUS and have used this tool, it is great for installing security cameras. You need to know about the network to use it with IP cameras. has a basic built-in instruction manual, you will love this tool. The tool also works with SDI cameras via HDTVI. It quickly found all my WiFi ONVIF cameras and connected to my NVR. You really need this tester, it makes life a lot easier by allowing you to view and set up cameras on site. Also, it's a great sales tool to show the customer exactly what the look will be like. It's worth it in the field! I tested HD-TVI, 960H, AHD, analog, SDI and IP cameras. Tested BNC cables and IP cables. The touchscreen is very clear and responsive. The power supply is fine. It starts up faster in sleep mode but drains the battery like a laptop, not a deal breaker. The battery lasts a long 6 hours in a day with more left even though I charge the battery after a day of use. It has file viewer app so i installed my own apk apps from sd card like amcrest viewer pro & cctv calculator apps. There's also HDMI IN AND OUT! Can be used as a monitor to set up NVR and DVR! Use it as a screen! (Model: 8600ADHS-PLUS) It comes with straps to hold the tester on your chest and still look at the screen, freeing your hands to connect cables and hold a ladder.
