Consists of two parts: The elbow screws into a wide round drain adapter. The elbow is designed to screw onto most drainpipes. However, it depends on how the drain pipe is made. Product ships ready to thread or thread onto Camco hoses, but other hoses may thread in the opposite direction. Alteration instructions are printed INSIDE the paper packaging which I haven't found in weeks. If you follow them (you need a screwdriver), the system works fine. Leaving the knee attached to the hose, I stow it in the bumper and tuck the rounded wide end into a plastic bag in my drain kit (with a spare hose and plastic gloves). So far I've had an easy time with it, it works great. This drainage task couldn't be much simpler.
