I tested the clarity of this telescope. Much to my dismay, the viewfinder was clear and the eyepiece fogged up. In other words: defective. No amount of adjustment will fix this. So my granddaughter is forced to look at the stars through the finder and not through the main telescope. I would have sent him back if it hadn't been such a disappointment to the young man. I contacted the company for a replacement eyepiece. Let's see if they answer. If not, lower my rating even further.
