DO NOT buy for nursery
I have a nursery at home. When I first bought these mats I was impressed by how thick they are and how comfortable they are (mine is 2 inches thick). However, after just a few months of daily use by my children in kindergarten, they began to tear at the corners. Now, a year later, I had to throw away all the carpets (10) because they were completely torn. If you only use these rugs occasionally and your child(ren) never uses them to build forts, do gymnastics etc. I think they will be ok. If not, don't waste your money.
