I bought this because I needed a place to hold my phone while I'm on the treadmill and it's perfect for that. I already have a Garmin mount on my bike (which I use with my outdoor bike computer) so I can use the same mount for my phone when riding indoors. Phones, but that's fine as at least it's secure. You can still charge your phone with the holder on it. The front straps cover part of the screen at the corners, which can be awkward at times when you need to press the X in the corner or something, but mostly when my phone is set up here I'm just using it as a secondary display, so play it doesn't matter.
