Your satisfaction depends on the app!

So LEDs are very bright point light sources, not diffuse. So where you use it depends on your satisfaction. Our basement has a lower ceiling and we found that we liked the diffused light from a traditional incandescent bulb better, but it just didn't suit us here. However, we have a shed with high light output, and a conventional diffused bulb just doesn't give enough light, they put it up and everything is fine. This would probably be great in our attic where the light output is very high and would be great in the garage with high ceilings. You may also like this over your desktop for a super bright light. HOWEVER, wherever you look at the instrument, the light is so bright that it can hurt your eyes. So my advice is if you normally see the bulb in your normal driving mode (i.e. line of sight) then this is not the best choice as it will hurt your eyes but if the socket is high up and out of your normal line of sight View. Vision (meaning you don't usually see the lightbulb when you walk by) is a good choice.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Good but not very good
