This is a great emergency kit for traveling. I will carry this in the trunk especially for all road trips. The kit comes in a great hard plastic case that keeps everything tidy and looks very sturdy. At the heart of the kit is a pump that will flow through a volume of air about twice as fast as any similarly sized pump I've seen; I ran a few tests and this kid had no problem starting with high volume AND high pressure. Please note that it has no built-in battery, so it needs to be plugged into your vehicle's power outlet. So, in addition to the pump, the kit includes a complete tire repair kit that contains everything you need to pull something (e.g. a nail) out. what causes a flat tire and everything you need to plug in a plug. Tire plugs have a bad reputation, but I've used them on everything from truck and large SUV tires to Z-rated high-performance sports car tires and have never had a leak after installing the plug. The fact that you can fix a tire on the street and inflate it forever is amazing. I did it and you don't even have to take the wheel off the car. Simply position the splint so you can get to the nail (or screw, etc.) in the splint, remove (with the pliers provided), use the T-handle "core" (coil material) to Open the hole a little and insert one of the plug strips into the slot of the other T-handle, push VERY hard to push the plug all the way into the tire, and then pull VERY firmly on the T-handle. Then deflate the tire and you're done! The plug remains mostly in the tire and protrudes slightly from the outside. Don't worry, as soon as you start moving this part will fall off (by nature) and then your tire will clog. The pump also has an LED light that will come in handy at night. Finally, there are pliers, screwdrivers and a cutting knife, which can come in handy in various situations along the way. The content and quality of the set make it a solid 5 stars.
