The difference is HUGE! and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to bring a whole new level of clarity and brightness to their home theater setup. Now I can turn the receiver all the way up, put my ear to the speakers and hear NO hum or hiss. Before buying this power supply, I could always detect a slight noise in the system. This noise has been completely eliminated by the HTS3500. My TV's colors are also noticeably brighter and crisper. BUY THIS!
