I love this compact adapter. If you already use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse (like the Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse), you probably don't need them for USB-C hubs with all sorts of ports. This is a great solution for me on my desktop. I plug in the USB-C power cable and plug in this adapter and that's it. It was recognized immediately and right away I had 3 independent displays (my 2 external ones plus the one built into my MacBook Air). The two external displays run at full native 1440p resolution. Just bring any necessary DisplayPort cables with you. In my case it was just 2 regular DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables. All in all a highly recommended item!
