I installed this mesh on a 2016 Rav4. The top loops easily slip off the factory top weight hooks and the bottom hooks on the item are too loose to stay attached to the factory metal hoops. If you don't maintain much tension and keep the net full all the time, it will detach from the 2016 Rav4 fasteners. Also, the instructions that came with the product do not describe the product that I received. However, it is made of durable materials so it will obviously provide many years of delightful misery. The product is inexpensive so I will keep it until I find something that works better. Maybe I should have paid more and bought a luggage net from my Toyota dealer.
