Review on ๐Ÿšด Vittoria Randonneur II Trekking Tire (700cm x 25/38): Optimal Performance in Black by Joseph Quintana

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Love them in the sports category

I switched to these from a 20 year old high blood pressure Contis. The ride is incredibly smooth compared to the high pressure tires. They're not very popular with speed lovers as they seem to have quite a high rolling resistance, but I'm really happy. Not a single flat for more than 3,000 miles, but I'm very careful. I'm an amateur racer, 60-100 miles a week on paved roads. I'm also in my 70's and have given up speed. I liked Contis when I was younger, not so much now. BY THE WAY. I had to inflate high-pressure tires about every day; They stay at 85-90 psi for over a week. Edited to add: A reviewer gave them 1 star for being very difficult to install. I also have a hard time putting them on. This isn't a problem for me because 1) I bought a tire lever from Kool-Stop and 2) my LBS will fit a tube and tire free of charge for customers who buy a tube or tire (or both) from them. . They are difficult to install.
