Works well maybe once

I bought one of these at a hardware store and it worked incredibly well. I thought I could give a few away and they're all the same, right? Not correct. Where the brand name is strong and flexible, they are rigid and brittle. Plastic breaks easily, which can result in a jagged strip of plastic getting stuck in the drain, greatly exacerbating the problem. Can't say I recommend them unless you're willing to maybe disassemble the drain to pull the snake out.
