This is a little different from perfect hole alignment, but you can make it work (1 star downgrade). I used 2 1/4" spacers to make it 1.5". Also have a 1/8" steel rod to take the choke stem apart. Also be sure to check the kickdown (TV) cable to see if it needs to be straightened if you increase the spacing a bit. If you use thicker spacers , you will need a 5" bolt for the front (5/16), the rear bolts work fine. Noticeable performance gain as there is more air available in the intake manifold. It will also help keep the carbs cooler. Wanted 2 Inch but couldn't find the right one, thought about getting another one and stacking them together.
