Review on 🔧 Denso 9500118 Fuel Pump by Steven Murray

Very very cheap compared to other brands. Additional adapters are included, presumably so that it can be installed on different cars. This model comes with a mesh pouch which is nice as you have to buy it separately if you are using some other brands. Installation took me, an aspiring home mechanic, less than 45 minutes to install my '99 Miata. The only scary part was removing the old fuel pump and dealing with gas drips in close proximity to my carpet, upholstery, and top. The new fuel pump "sings" a little - I would describe it as a faint hum when you press the pedal, which I don't remember before the change. It's not distracting and my Miata is loud enough that I don't normally hear it. It might not be noticeable in a sedan where the fuel pump is hidden, but in the MX-5 the tank and pump are located just behind the seats under a thin layer of carpet.
