Almost everything you need

Almost everything you need to replace a Miatas fuel pump is included, but there is no rubber band so be careful with the existing pump or use a zipper.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Fits 1990 Mazda Miata

My Miata jerked at idle and when I released the clutch it shook more than usual. The fuel pump was replaced with this Denso and now the car drives very quietly. Probably a combination of an old fuel pump and a dirty filter. Just follow the instructions and watch the YouTube video. I replaced the fuel pump seal, so two birds with one stone. Definitely a recommended replacement for any old Miata.

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked great on my NA and NB.

I installed one of these kits when I was 92 and 99 years old. Everything worked great, the installation was easy and both machines ran flawlessly afterwards. On my '92, the stock fuel pump connector plugged directly into the pump, no cuts or connections needed! My 99 had to plug in the connector that came with it, but it was easy with crimp wires and butt connectors. The bottom rubber isolator doesn't fit the bottom of the pump like the original, but it fits snug enough to work properlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Without automatic

Reliable replacement for the stock fuel pump

My fuel pump in my car had failed and I needed a reliable and cheaper replacement than a Mazda dealer. I have replaced a few high mileage Denso parts on my Honda and felt comfortable buying them for my Miata. Installation is simple - remove the lower portion of carpet covering the rear deck (no need to remove all bushings or the carpet). . I discarded the plastic bag as I removed the pressure hoses to reduce leakage, then undid the eight screws. It fits snugly, but you'll have to cut and crimpโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy OEM replacement, great price. No complaints!

Very very cheap compared to other brands. Additional adapters are included, presumably so that it can be installed on different cars. This model comes with a mesh pouch which is nice as you have to buy it separately if you are using some other brands. Installation took me, an aspiring home mechanic, less than 45 minutes to install my '99 Miata. The only scary part was removing the old fuel pump and dealing with gas drips in close proximity to my carpet, upholstery, and top. The new fuel pumpโ€ฆ
