(Updated) The seller sent me a new cable. Very easy to use. I think the 1st was just bad. The exchange worked very well. I've used it a lot since I got it. + for customer service. It felt like good quality. Worked for a week, now it won't charge. I use it in my office where it doesn't get moved much so I don't know what's wrong. Worked one day, connected the next and nothing.
