Installed a set of these improved latches on my JKU in May 2019. Hood chatter was greatly reduced and it looked nice with the other red accents on my Jeep. Today when driving on the Autobahn, the locking strip on the driver's side broke into two parts. We were able to get to the curb quickly and find an OEM style replacement at a local parts store so we could continue our drive home. Terrible experience - the passenger side latch stayed secure hence there was no visible damage to the hood. I contacted Daystar about the issue and will update this review until resolved. According to the product information page, they have a lifetime guarantee.
