I bought this product to use to inflate my bike tires. The inflator works with a 12V DC car cigarette lighter socket so I can use this inflator at home with this converter that converts a regular wall socket to a 12V DC cigarette lighter socket. heated up. It doesn't make any noise either and what I like is that the cigarette slot has a lid so it's protected when not in use. The only downside I see is that it's bulky and a little heavy, but that's to be expected since it supports high power and amperage. Another observation is that the light is there and it's difficult for people with Duthromolia or Duetranopia to tell if it's green or red and if it means anything. As far as I can tell, the light is off (on) or off (off). In general, the purchase is satisfied, here 5 stars.
