Very durable! in Home Decor Products
I bought this rod for the window above my bed in our RV. I didn't want to make holes in the wall and there is a built in box beam that uses this. This seems perfect, I tightened the bolt by pulling the stem out a little more than the required width. Seems really durable. It's not the kind of tension rod that you twist one way or the other to make it smaller or bigger. This has a screw to hold it at the width you set. For this app I prefer this guy because he doesn't relax on his own while we're out!
