It's pretty cool. I bought two, one for me and my wife. They are pretty close to the same reading. Usually a degree or two F. I've tested them in the dishwasher and in the fridge for min max. They both had very similar readings, so I'm happy. I've used them to check our kettle water, hot water, red meat, chicken, etc. I will also use them to measure the ambient temperature in the garage and at work. The temperature adjusts faster under running water than outdoors, but that's to be expected, it's enough for my needs. The fine tip helps with quick grasping. The fact that they are waterproof and dustproof is great. If they made them impact resistant they would be perfect. But I still give them 5 stars.
